I WILL LIVE
FOR YOU.
Most parents would die for their children. What if we fought just as hard to live for them?
Why this exists
Choosing to stay is an act of love.
I Will Live For You was created for parents who are struggling, exhausted, overwhelmed, hurting, or simply trying to make it through another day.
Living for our children does not mean pretending everything is okay. It means asking for help when we need it, taking care of our minds and bodies, finding community, and continuing to show up.
Some days that means getting stronger. Some days it means taking a walk. Some days it means talking to a therapist, taking your medication as prescribed, telling someone you are not okay, or simply making it through the night.
Our children do not need perfect parents. They need us here. And while they may sometimes be the reason we choose to stay, the hope is that along the way we remember that our lives are worth living too.
What we talk about
Three parts of the same life.
Mental health
Honest conversations about struggling, asking for help, healing, treatment, connection, and staying.
Movement
Fitness as a tool for health, routine, confidence, community, and showing up for yourself.
Parenthood
The messy, meaningful work of being present for our children while learning to care for ourselves too.
Today I choose to stay.
Today I choose to live.
When you need help now
You do not have to handle a crisis alone.
In the United States: Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
This project shares community, lived experience, and encouragement. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
